Congressional trading data

Every congressional trade. Minutes after it's filed.

Members of Congress disclose their stock trades by law. We watch the House Clerk and Senate eFD around the clock, parse every filing into clean, ticker-matched data, and push it to your dashboard, API, webhooks, and inbox — minutes after it hits the public record.

How it works

From a PDF on a government server to a row in your feed

Three steps, fully automated, running around the clock — including recess.

01

Watch the filings

We poll the House Clerk and Senate eFD disclosure systems continuously — nights, weekends, and the Friday-evening dumps where awkward trades like to hide.

02

Parse and enrich

Periodic Transaction Reports become structured trades: the asset resolved to a ticker, the amount range normalized, the owner tagged (member, spouse, joint, dependent), the filer matched to their committee seats.

03

Deliver everywhere

The trade lands on your dashboard, streams out over webhooks, answers on the REST API, and hits your inbox — minutes after it appears on the public record.

The product

One dataset, four ways to consume it

Built for traders who watch the tape, developers who build on it, and journalists who dig through it.

01

Real-time dashboard

The live tape of every disclosed trade, with member profiles, ticker pages, committee context, and filters that cut 17 years of history down to the signal you care about.

02

REST API

Trades, politicians, tickers, and filings as clean JSON. Query by member, ticker, chamber, committee, amount range, or date — paginated, versioned, and predictable.

03

Webhooks

A signed POST to your endpoint the moment a new trade publishes. Subscribe to everything, or filter to the members and tickers on your watchlist.

04

Alerts, feeds & CSV

Instant email alerts on your watchlist, RSS/JSON feeds for your reader or pipeline, and full CSV exports when you want the raw table in a spreadsheet.

Why trust the data

Built on the public record — and honest about it

Every trade we publish links back to its source filing on the House Clerk or Senate eFD, so you can verify anything in one click. We are a media and analytics publication disseminating STOCK Act disclosures — data that is public by law — with the provenance kept intact all the way to your screen.
We are equally honest about the limits. Members report amount ranges, not exact values, so that is what we publish. The law gives filers up to 45 days to disclose a trade — we cannot shrink that, and nobody can. What we control is the last mile: from the moment a filing appears to the moment it reaches you, measured in minutes. When a filing is amended or we correct a parse, the change is versioned and visible.

Run with the pack.
